Income tax searches 12 Mumbai locations linked to Rakul Preet Singh

The Income Tax Department conducted searches at 12 locations in Mumbai linked to actor Rakul Preet Singh, filmmaker Vashu Bhagnani and Panorama Studios on Monday as part of an inquiry into suspected financial irregularities involving film-related transactions.
Officials are examining documents, financial records and details of suspected overseas fund transfers. Investigators are reportedly looking into allegations that funds were routed abroad in connection with film financing and related activities. No findings from the searches have been made public so far.
Rakul Preet Singh is married to actor-producer Jackky Bhagnani, the son of Vashu Bhagnani. Panorama Studios is also among the entities linked to the searches.Separately, Rakul Preet Singh’s brother Aman Preet Singh was named by Mumbai Police in a drug case following the seizure of 43 grams of cocaine and 11.5 grams of MDMA from two alleged drug peddlers in December 2025. Police had alleged that Aman Preet Singh purchased drugs from the two men on multiple occasions. Rakul Preet Singh has acted in Tamil films including Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru, NGK and Indian 2. She is also set to appear as Surpanakha in Ramayana.
