IIT Bombay conducted a hackathon called CTD 2025 as a part of Construction Technology Day Celebrations. The hackathon challenged participants to design an Al/ML-driven procurement plan for construction projects, focusing on real-world applicability and efficiency. After multiple rigorous stages-from registration (August 8-21) to project development (August 25-September 15)-the grand finale showcased the nation’s best innovators. Kongu Engineering College (KEC) students team consists of Thyagesh, Abhinav, Subicharan, and Sanjay secured the 1st Place with a cash prize of Rs 50,000. This team was mentored by Dr.Rampradeep (Civil Engineering) and Dr.K. Sathya (Artificial Intelligence). Thiru E.R.K.Krishnan, Correspondent, KEC and Dr.R.Parameshwaran, Principal, KEC congratulated the team for binging laurels to the college.
