INTEC 2026 Trade Fair to begin on June 4 in Coimbatore

CODISSIA will organise the 21st edition of INTEC 2026, the International Machine Tools and Industrial Trade Fair, from June 4 to 8 at the CODISSIA Trade Fair Complex, Avinashi Road, Coimbatore.
The event, regarded as one of South India’s major industrial trade fairs, aims to strengthen Coimbatore’s position as a global manufacturing hub by promoting advanced manufacturing technologies and industrial
innovation.
Addressing the media, E. K. Ponnuswamy, Chairman of INTEC 2026, said the INTEC series had successfully completed 20 editions and played a major role in transforming Coimbatore into a precision manufacturing hub catering to sectors such as automotive, aerospace, engineering, chemicals and allied industries.
The exhibition will be spread across seven halls covering 2.60 lakh square feet and is expected to feature more than 460 exhibitors and over 700 stalls from 13 States including Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Telangana and New Delhi. Around 70,000 visitors from across India are expected to attend the fair.
The fair will showcase advanced technologies including AI-based manufacturing, robotics, industrial automation systems, smart factory ecosystems, CNC machines, laser cutting technologies and measurement systems.
ELGI will participate as Platinum Category Exhibitor, Janatics as Diamond Category Exhibitor, LMW Limited as Gold Category Exhibitor and Carrlane Manufacturing India Private Limited as Silver Category Exhibitor. DBS Bank will be the official banker, while Industry 4.0 will serve as the E-magazine partner and Texas Ventures as conference partner.
The exhibition will be inaugurated at 10 a.m. on June 4 at the “D” Seminar Hall by Dr. Kanaoka, Founder and Representative Director of Jinki Ittai Co. Ltd., Japan. U. Subba Rao, General Manager, Integral Coach Factory, Chennai, and Ramesh Kumar N., Managing Director and CEO of RIR Power Electronics Limited, Mumbai, will participate as guests of honour.
The 12th edition of the Global Manufacturing Cluster Vision (GMCV) 2047 conference will also be held on June 5 at Hotel Radisson Blu, focusing on the future of Indian manufacturing and industrial growth.
