The Inter-school Basketball Tournament of Erode District was held on behalf of the Erode District Basketball Association.
The tournament was held at the Ishan Basketball Academy in grounds in Tindalmedu, Erode.
The best 8 teams in Erode district participated in both the categories.
The tournament was inaugurated by Erode District Physical Education Inspector Solomon.
In the boys category, Thindal Bharathi Vidya Bhavan School, Saradha Matric School, Rajendra Matric School, Geetanjali School won the top four positions.
In the girls category, Rajendra Matric School, C.S. Academy School,
Saradha Matric School, Erode Mavericks team won the top four positions.
Erode District Basketball Association President Dr. K. Sudhakar, Vice President Sudha Hospital Head S. Pradeepa, Secretary Gopinath, and Treasurer P. Varun presented prizes to the winning
teams.
