Interpol Issues Red Notice To Arrest Drug Kingpin Rishabh Baisoya

The Interpol has issued a Red Corner Notice to arrest Rishabh Baisoya, the key accused in a massive ₹13,000-crore international drug trafficking case being investigated by the Delhi Police Special Cell.
According to officials, the racket operated across Delhi, Punjab, Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Goa, with drugs being smuggled from South America to India via Dubai. During a vehicle inspection in Delhi last year, police seized one kilogram of cocaine and mephedrone, leading to the arrest of Jatinder Singh Gill. Subsequent investigation revealed that Gill had been in contact with Rishabh Baisoya, the son of alleged drug cartel kingpin Virender Singh Baisoya, also known as Veeru. CCTV footage from a hotel in Panchsheel Enclave, Delhi, showed both men together shortly before Rishabh went absconding. Officials believe that Rishabh Baisoya fled to the Middle East shortly after the crackdown and continued coordinating smuggling routes from abroad. Following a formal request from Indian authorities, Interpol issued a Red Notice to trace, arrest, and extradite him to India. Police sources said the Baisoya network is believed to be one of the largest drug cartels operating between South America, Dubai, and India, responsible for trafficking narcotics worth over ₹13,000 crore. The Delhi Police, in coordination with Interpol and international law enforcement agencies, are continuing efforts to locate and bring Baisoya back to face trial in India.
