PSG & Sons Charities will host a four-day grand music festival titled Kadamabari-2026 as part of its centenary celebrations, marking 100 years of philanthropic service. The festival will be held from January 2 to January 5, 2026, at the PSG IMS&R Auditorium on the PSG Hospitals campus at Peelamedu here.
The event aims to celebrate India’s rich classical and light music traditions while providing a platform for students, eminent musicians, and acclaimed performers. Programmes will be conducted daily from 5 pm to 8.30 pm. Entry will be free, subject to prior registration.
The festival will open on Friday, January 2, with Dharma Swarangal, a light music presentation by students of PSG Institutions, followed by the Kalai Sudar Award ceremony honouring outstanding student performers.
On Saturday, January 3, the programme will feature Dasavathara Dharmam, a classical dance presentation by PSG students, followed by the Yuva Kalaarathna Award ceremony.
The evening will conclude with Madhura Sangeeth, a classical vocal concert by noted artistes Smt. S. Aishwarya and Kum. S. Sandhya.Sunday’s programme on January 4 will include Dharma Marga, a Carnatic music presentation by the Department of Carnatic Music of PSG College of Arts and Science, followed by a special Carnatic concert by Padma Shri and Padma Bhushan awardee Smt. Sudha Raghunathan.
The festival will conclude on Monday, January 5, with Ullam Uruguthaiya, a Carnatic music programme by PSG school students, followed by Dharmam Thalaikkakkum, a light classical concert by popular playback singer Sathya Prakash D.
Through Kadamabari-2026, PSG & Sons Charities seeks to reaffirm its commitment to nurturing culture, education, and the arts while commemorating a century of dedicated service to society. Free passes can be obtained through prior registration.
