Kalasalingam Alumni Network Expands to Hyderabad

The Hyderabad Chapter of the Srivilliputhur Kalasalingam Engineering College and Kalasalingam University Alumni Association was formally inaugurated today at Varaki Manadapam, strengthening the institution’s growing alumni network across the country.
The ceremony was presided over by Dr. K. Sridharan, Chancellor.
Speaking after launching the new chapter, Dr. S. Shasi Anand, Vice President, said alumni are not just former students but “ambassadors who carry the pride and values of Kalasalingam to the world,” and also serve as mentors for future generations.
Dr. S. Narayanan, Vice Chancellor, and Dr. V. Vasudevan, Registrar, felicitated alumni and appreciated the initiative to expand the university’s outreach in major cities.
A total of 112 alumni from Hyderabad took part in the event, reconnecting with friends and sharing fond memories of their college days.
As part of the proceedings, the office-bearers for the newly formed Hyderabad Chapter were elected and officially announced by the Vice President.
The function was efficiently coordinated by University Alumni Association administrators — Prof. R. Murugeswari, Prof. R.S. Dhanalakshmi, and Prof. S. Badrinath — along with Hyderabad alumnus Mr. Rohit, who helped organise the event.
The launch marks a significant milestone in fostering stronger professional and social networks for Kalasalingam graduates living in Hyderabad.
