Kalasalingam university secures global rank

Kalasalingam Academy of Research and Education (Deemed University) has secured the 234th position globally and 7th rank in India in the UI GreenMetric World University Rankings 2025, an international ranking system that evaluates universities on green campus initiatives and environmental
sustainability.
The ranking is instituted by Universitas Indonesia.
In a press note, Vice President Dr. S. Shasi Anand said the recognition reflects the university’s sustained commitment to eco-friendly practices, renewable energy use, waste management, water conservation and a greener campus ecosystem.
Chancellor Dr. K. Sridharan, Pro-Chancellor Dr. S. Arivazagi Sridharan, Vice Presidents Dr. S. Shasi Anand and Er. S. Arjun Kalasalingam congratulated all faculty members, staff, students and shareholders.
They lauded their collective efforts and dedication, which have enabled the university to achieve this significant global milestone.
