Khamenei’s assassination to incite 3rd world war?

The last day of February 2026 will be written as a black page in world history. The supreme power center of Iran, which has been a dream for America and Israel for many years, has collapsed. Yesterday morning, March 1, Iranian state media officially announced the news. The news was that “Iran’s spiritual and political leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei (86) was assassinated on February 28.”
The United States and Israel have launched a joint airstrike on Khamenei’s official residence in Tehran. Reports say that not only Khamenei, but also many of his family members were killed in the attack. Khamenei’s daughter, son-in-law and a grandson were killed in the attack. Several high-ranking leaders, including Ali Shamkhani, Secretary of Iran’s National Security Council, were killed in the attack.
Missiles have also hit key military bases in cities such as Tehran, Isfahan and Shiraz. Iran’s Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) have warned that “an unprecedented response will be given to this betrayal.”
But US President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu are justifying the attack as a defensive measure. The world is not convinced by their claims that Iran’s nuclear programs were a threat to the world and that this ‘preemptive strike’ was carried out to prevent it. This incident is not just a conflict between Middle Eastern countries, it is seen as the foundation for World War III.
Iran has now launched its retaliation by firing missiles at US military bases in Bahrain, Kuwait and Jordan. Dubai and Abu Dhabi airports have been temporarily closed.
Russia and China have strongly condemned this action by the US. They say it is an attack on the sovereignty of a country. If Iran falls, Russia’s influence in the region will decrease, and Russia is likely to jump directly into the war.
Iran has threatened to close the Strait of Hormuz, through which crude oil is exported. If it does, petrol and diesel prices will reach unprecedented levels worldwide. This will have a major impact on developing countries like India.
Iran’s military strength cannot be underestimated. If the remaining military leaders there use nuclear power or a ‘dirty bomb’) as a final weapon, the West could launch nuclear weapons in response. This would be catastrophic for the entire human race.
