KMCH Sulur Multispecialty Hospital conducted a World Health Day awareness programme at Jansons Institute of Technology, Karumathapatti, bringing together students, faculty and healthcare professionals to promote preventive healthcare and community wellness.
The programme began at 9.30 a.m. and focused on this year’s global health priorities. Nalla G. Palaniswami, Chairman and Managing Director of KMCH, highlighted the importance of extending healthcare beyond hospital premises and engaging youth to build a healthier society.

The event featured the inauguration of a signature campaign by Arun Palaniswami, Executive Director of KMCH, who emphasised individual responsibility in maintaining public health standards and encouraged students to act as ambassadors of healthy living.
Manoj, General Medicine specialist at KMCH, delivered an awareness lecture on the rising prevalence of lifestyle-related diseases and stressed the need for early detection and timely intervention.
Hundreds of students participated in the campaign, pledging to adopt healthier lifestyles. The programme served as a platform to connect medical professionals and the academic community in observance of World Health Day.
