Kongu Polytechnic student gets success in chess competition

A national-level chess competition was held from December 5th to 7th at the Rajarajeshwari Medical College campus in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
It was organized by AICI and other organizations.

In this competition, K. Sowthees Kumar, a first-year ECE department student of the Erode Kongu polytecnic college, participated and secured first place by scoring 7 points in nine matches. He was awarded a trophy and a cash prize.

He was congratulated by the college chairman K. Karthikeyan, the principal
(in-charge) S. Senthilkumar, and the physical education director T. Boopathy Manikandan.
