Krish Gupta, Rivaan Dev Preetham, Arshi Gupta and Ayansh Patil emerged overall champions in their respective categories as the MECO-FMSCI Indian National Karting Championship RMC India 2026 concluded at Meco Kartopia in Bengaluru on Sunday.
The championship, presented by SIDVIN Energy Engineering with MRF Tyres as partner sponsor, witnessed intense battles in the sixth and final round. None of the four champions won their respective Finals races, but consistent performances earned them enough points to secure the titles.
Mumbai’s Krish Gupta of Rayo Racing claimed the Senior Max crown after finishing third in the Finals and second in the Pre-Finals. Chennai’s Eshanth Vengatesan of MSPORT won both races and dominated every session of the weekend, but finished short of the overall title. Bengaluru’s Akshat Misra of Peregrine Racing was another contender.
Chennai’s Rivaan Dev Preetham of MSPORT secured the Junior Max title despite a difficult weekend. His teammate Rishik Rohit Reddy of Bengaluru won every session but narrowly missed the championship. Rivaan finished 15th in the Pre-Finals after being caught in a mid-grid incident and placed sixth in the Finals.
Faridabad’s Arshi Gupta of Leapfrog Racing clinched the Mini Max title despite finishing ninth in the Pre-Finals and 10th in the Finals. Bengaluru’s Jishnu Seralathan of Peregrine Racing won the Finals, while teammate Micah Hayden Andrews from Tirunelveli topped the Pre-Finals.
Kolhapur’s Ayansh Patil of MSPORT won the Micro Max championship after securing podium finishes in both races, finishing ahead of Mumbai’s Aarav Sureka in the overall standings.
Krish Gupta, Rivaan Dev Preetham and Arshi Gupta qualified for the World Rotax Max Grand Finals, scheduled at the Kartódromo Internacional do Algarve in Portugal from November 7 to 14. The event will feature 432 racers from more than 60 countries.
In the championship awards, Eshanth Vengatesan was named Senior Max Best Rookie, Rivaan Dev Preetham Junior Max Best Rookie, Jishnu Seralathan Mini Max Best Rookie and Yeshwin Vinay Kishore of Peregrine Racing Micro Max Best Rookie. MSPORT topped the team standings in the Senior and Junior categories, while Peregrine Racing led the Mini and Micro categories.
