Aditya, the son of Rohini Acharya and grandson of former Bihar Chief Minister and Rashtriya Janata Dal leader Lalu Prasad Yadav, has left for Singapore to undergo mandatory military training.
Rohini Acharya, the second daughter of Lalu Prasad Yadav and Rabri Devi, shared the news in a post on social media, expressing pride over her son’s achievement. She said Aditya had completed his pre-university education and would now undergo two years of basic military training.
In her message, Rohini Acharya said her son’s decision reflected discipline and courage, adding that life’s toughest challenges shape true warriors. She conveyed her family’s love and encouragement as he embarked on the new journey.
Under Singapore law, all male citizens and eligible second-generation residents are required to undergo compulsory military training after attaining the age of 18. In line with this requirement, Aditya will be joining the Singapore Army for his basic training.
The development has drawn attention, with several supporters and well-wishers congratulating the family and wishing Aditya success in his military service.
