Students of Lions International School, Palladam, delivered an outstanding performance at the State-Level Open Karate Championship titled “Champions Vs Champions,” organised by Para Academy of Martial Arts School on February 1.
The championship saw participation from karate practitioners across the state, with Lions International School students securing prizes in multiple categories. Five students clinched first place, five students secured second place and eight students won third place. All the winners were honoured with trophies and certificates.
In recognition of the overall performance and medal tally, Lions International School was adjudged the Overall Champion of the tournament, bringing pride to the institution and the Palladam region.
The school management congratulated the students for their remarkable achievement. Chairman PMJF Ln. Dr. K. Kandasamy, PMJF A. Natarajan, PDG and Joint Managing Trustee, Secretary Ramkumar, Treasurer Karunanithi, Correspondent Govindaraju and Trust Member Iyappa Balaji lauded the students for their discipline and dedication.
The students were trained by Karate Master Saravanan, whose guidance played a key role in the success. The event coordination and support were provided by Manager Vignesh Paramathma, Principal R. Sivabalan, Coordinator Vinila Dani D.A., and Karate in-charge teachers Janani S. and Krishnaveni.
School authorities said the achievement reflected the institution’s strong emphasis on sports and holistic development alongside academics.
