“Make in India” Hackathon at Venkateswara College

The Department of Mechanical Engineering at Sri Venkateswara Hi-Tech Engineering College, in collaboration with the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE), organized a national-level design competition titled “NirmanCAD — Make in India Hackathon.”
The event featured addresses by prominent figures, including Jayaganesh Subburaj (Founder, Design Galaxy, Coimbatore), Venkatesan Uthamarajan (SAN Technovation Pvt Ltd, Perundurai), Sivaprakash (Penta CAD, Gobichettipalayam), and Dr. K. Sasikumar (District Project Manager, Entrepreneurship Development and Innovation Institute, Erode).
Cash prizes worth ₹25,000 were awarded to the winning teams.
The event was organized by College Trustee K.R. Kaviyarasu, Principal P. Thangavel, and Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, E. Mohan Kumar.
