Man eats 31 pani puris despite rat scare in bet

In a bizarre incident that has gone viral on social media, a young man in Amritsar reportedly ate 31 pani puris as part of a wager, even after a rat allegedly fell into the vendor’s spice water container.
Karan Tanju had made a bet with his friend, who promised to pay him Rs 50 for every pani puri he consumed. The duo visited a local roadside stall to carry out the challenge.
While the competition was underway, a rat reportedly fell into the pani puri masala bucket and struggled before escaping. Eyewitnesses said the vendor faced difficulty in removing the animal and clearing the container.
Despite witnessing the incident, Tanju allegedly refused to stop the contest and went on to consume 31 pani puris in a single sitting.
A video of the episode is now circulating widely online, drawing sharp reactions and sarcastic comments from viewers over hygiene concerns.
