Man kills wife in Punjab, posts video on Instagram

In a shocking incident in Punjab, a man allegedly hacked his wife to death and posted a video of the crime on Instagram before surrendering to the police.
Kuldeep, a resident of Leragang village in Sangrur district, is accused of killing his wife Kargidan Kaur following a domestic dispute.
The couple had three children, two daughters and a son.
According to police sources, an argument broke out between the couple on Wednesday night. As the quarrel escalated, Kuldeep allegedly attacked his wife with an axe inside their house, killing her on the spot. Police said the accused recorded the incident on his mobile phone and uploaded the video on his Instagram account.
He later went to the local police station and confessed to the crime.
The police have arrested Kuldeep and lodged him in judicial custody.
The body of Kargidan Kaur was recovered from the house and sent for post-mortem examination. Further investigation is under way to ascertain the motive behind the murder, officials said.
