Man threatened over loan taken by brother, complaint filed at SP office

Arul Murugan, who runs a cable TV in Erode city, filed a complaint at the SP office today that he is being threatened over the loan taken by his brother Radhakrishnan.
His complaint:
My brother Radhakrishnan died in 2023. Now, an Erode Corporation councillor is threatening me by saying that he took a loan of Rs 12 lakh.
He is insisting that I give him the Radha cable company that my brother had. Even though I said that I cannot be responsible for my brother’s loan, on 17/11/2025 some people came and threatened me in my office.
After that, when he went to the office on the councillor’s call, some people including the former councillor and present councillor threatened me. They said that I should give a cheque for the loan. They threatened me with a knife.
They pushed me down and twisted my hand with some bonds and took my thumb impression. They tortured me till night. Therefore, he requested that the action against them be taken.
