Mini car crafted from 12 grams of gold!

A jeweler from Srivilliputhur has designed a miniature electric car measuring just one inch in length and half an inch in height — crafted entirely from 12 grams of gold.
Manikandan (45), a resident of Pettai Street and owner of a jewellery workshop in the Srivilliputhur Jewellery Bazaar, is known for creating intricate miniatures. He earlier crafted a bike using 110 grams of silver, an electric fan using 63 grams of silver, and a tiny functional watch made from a 4-gram gold ring — creations that brought him recognition in the Limca Book of Records.
In 2007, he produced a 24×24 mm miniature chessboard made from just 5 grams of silver, complete with 32 tiny pieces, which earned a place in the Guinness Book of Records.
His latest masterpiece — the gold mini electric car — operates on battery power and includes working headlights and an audio system.
Manikandan said the model took four years to build and has now been submitted to the Guinness Book of Records for evaluation.
