Modi signs artist’s portrait during Nagercoil roadshow

Prime Minister Narendra Modi signed a portrait drawn by a local woman artist during a roadshow held in Nagercoil in support of National Democratic Alliance
candidates.
The artist, Sandiyadevi from Italaikudi Bhattriyar Neduntheru, had brought a portrait of the Prime Minister that she had painted.
Security personnel collected the artwork and handed it over to Modi, who signed on the back of the portrait before returning it through officials.
The artist later received it and preserved it as a cherished possession. During the event, several people presented souvenirs to the Prime Minister.
In another instance, a photograph depicting Modi receiving blessings from his mother was shown to him and passed on through security personnel.
The roadshow concluded at Vadasseri, where Modi greeted volunteers and members of the public.
He was seen interacting warmly with the crowd, including accepting blessings from an elderly couple and inquiring about the well-being of a differently-abled person.
The programme was broadcast on large screens at multiple locations for the benefit of the public and party workers.
AIADMK General Secretary Edappadi K. Palaniswami and former Tamil Nadu BJP president K. Annamalai also arrived in Kanniyakumari district by helicopter to participate in the roadshow alongside the Prime Minister.
