In a rare moment of political bonhomie, BJP MP Kangana Ranaut, Trinamool Congress MP Mahua Moitra and Nationalist Congress Party (Sharad Pawar) MP Supriya Sule were seen dancing together at a grand wedding ceremony held in the national capital.
The wedding was that of Yashaswini Jindal, daughter of noted industrialist and BJP MP Naveen Jindal. The celebrations were held on December 5, while a colourful sangeet ceremony took place on the previous night.
During the musical evening, Kangana Ranaut, Mahua Moitra and Supriya Sule shared the dance floor along with Naveen Jindal. The leaders danced to the popular Bollywood song “Deewangi Deewangi” from Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Om Shanti Om, drawing loud cheers from the guests.
The video of the unlikely political trio dancing together quickly went viral on social media. Netizens have welcomed the rare sight of women MPs from the ruling party and Opposition sharing the stage in a moment of celebration, setting aside political differences even if only for a night.
