Nainar Nagendran, Annamalai join in Valli kummi

Tamil Nadu BJP president Nainar Nagendran took part in a Valli Kummi folk dance along with former State BJP president K. Annamalai during a public outreach programme held at Malumichampatti in Coimbatore district on Sunday.
The event was organised as part of Nainar Nagendran’s State-wide tour titled ‘Tamil Nadu Tamizhanin Payanam’, aimed at connecting with people across Tamil Nadu. The Malumichampatti programme marked the 52nd leg of the tour.
A campaign platform designed on the lines of the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly was set up at the venue. BJP Tamil Nadu in-charge Arvind Menon and former State president K. Annamalai were among the senior leaders present.
More than a thousand folk artistes performed the traditional Valli Kummi dance, creating a vibrant cultural atmosphere. Joining the performers, Nainar Nagendran and Annamalai stepped onto the stage and danced along, drawing enthusiastic cheers from party workers and the public.
The programme highlighted the BJP’s cultural outreach efforts as part of its broader political engagement across the State, with an emphasis on Tamil traditions and grassroots interaction.
