A state-level men’s handball tournament, organized on behalf of the Inter-Polytechnic Colleges Athletic Association (IIPA), was held at the RVS Polytechnic College sports ground.
Representing their respective zones, Thyagarajar (Salem Zone), Nandha (Erode Zone), Sri Mahalakshmi (Nagai Zone), and Sri Venkateswara (Vellore Zone) Polytechnic Colleges qualified for the semi-final matches. In the semi-finals, Thyagarajar and Sri Venkateswara Polytechnic Colleges were eliminated, while Nandha and Sri Mahalakshmi Polytechnic Colleges advanced to the finals.
At the conclusion of the final match, Nandha Polytechnic College (Erode Zone) defeated Sri Mahalakshmi Polytechnic College (Nagai Zone) to emerge victorious and achieve a significant milestone.
