Nivasan Hospitality Services, a division of Nivasan Homes, on Sunday launched “Advaya”, Coimbatore’s first exclusive lease-based senior living community, marking a significant step in organised senior care housing in the city.
Located near CODISSIA on Thanneer Pandal Road, Advaya has been designed as an integrated and premium living space tailored to the evolving lifestyle, healthcare and wellness needs of senior citizens, while preserving their independence and dignity.
The project was formally announced at a press interaction addressed by Srinivasan, Managing Director of Nivasan Homes, Vidya, Director of Nivasan Hospitality Services, and Ashwin, Director of Nivasan Homes.
Advaya comprises 48 single-bed studio apartments and three two-bedroom apartments, all designed with senior-friendly features such as step-free access, grab rails, wide doorways, anti-skid flooring, wheelchair accessibility, emergency response systems and uninterrupted 24-hour power supply.
Residents will benefit from round-the-clock nursing care, on-call doctor services, chef-prepared pure vegetarian meals, complete housekeeping and maintenance support, offering a secure and worry-free living environment. The project places special emphasis on providing peace of mind to residents and their family members, particularly those living abroad.
Common amenities include a landscaped green park, meditation hall, library, indoor auditorium, dining hall and other shared spaces aimed at promoting physical, emotional and mental well-being. A dedicated guest house facility has also been provided to accommodate visiting family members.
To strengthen healthcare support, Nivasan Hospitality has partnered with PSG Hospitals and Sethu Ayurveda Speciality Hospital to provide timely medical assistance. Residents will also have access to yoga and fitness sessions, physiotherapy services, meditation, hobby areas, indoor recreation facilities and landscaped outdoor zones.
Individuals aged 55 years and above are eligible to reside at Advaya, either independently or with their spouse. The minimum lease period has been fixed at six months, with the flexibility to extend the stay as desired.
