No more standing in sub-registrar offices:Registration department

The Tamil Nadu Registration Department has directed officials at Sub-Registrar offices across the State not to make members of the public stand while seeking services or clarifications.
In a circular issued to all Sub-Registrar offices, the department instructed officials to ensure that visitors are seated on chairs while interacting with staff and receiving responses to their queries.
The department also directed offices to maintain adequate seating arrangements to accommodate all members of the public visiting the premises.
The move is aimed at improving public convenience and ensuring a more respectful approach in government offices.
