Park College Launches Young Innovator Summit

The Innovation Ambassadors of Park College of Engineering and Technology (Autonomous) have announced the launch of the Park’s Young Innovator Summit – 2025, a dynamic initiative aimed at inspiring school students from Classes 6 to 12 to think creatively, innovate, and build solutions for a better future under the theme “You Too Can Become Abdul Kalam.”

The summit provides an opportunity for young minds to explore, design, and present their ideas in key areas of emerging technology. Students from schools across Tamil Nadu and other states are invited to participate by submitting their projects under six innovation themes — Medical Technology, Aerospace Technology, Space Technology, Women Technology, Green Technology, and Disaster Technology.
Attractive cash prizes worth Rs 1 lakh will be awarded to the most outstanding ideas. The last date for registration is October 24, 2025, while the main event and award ceremony will be held on October 30, 2025, coinciding with Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam’s birthday, observed globally as World Students’ Day.

The event will also feature a series of engaging exhibits and live demonstrations such as a Robotics Show, Drone Show, Space Exploration Zone, Science and Innovation Expo, AI & Coding Corner, 3D Printing Demos, AR/VR Experience Zone, and a Green Tech Lab. Participants can further take part in hands-on physics and chemistry experiments, quizzes, and innovation games designed to enhance curiosity and problem-solving skills.
Showcasing the institution’s strong focus on innovation, the aeronautical engineering students of Park Group of Institutions had earlier launched a satellite model that successfully reached an altitude of one kilometre, in the presence of veteran scientist Dr. Nambi Narayanan.

The Innovation Ambassadors of the college stated that the Park’s Young Innovator Summit – 2025 aims to foster a culture of research, creativity, and technological excellence, empowering the next generation of young scientists and visionaries to lead India’s innovation journey.
