Details of the petition submitted by TMC Erode District Trade Union President Rafiq to the District Superintendent of Police:
Since the railway entry bridge on Chennimalai Road, K K Nagar, Erode, is very narrow, vehicles going to schools and colleges face traffic problem from 8 to 9.30 am daily and students face much problem to go go to their schools and colleges on time. Therefore, traffic police should be appointed in this area in the morning and evening to avoid traffic congestion and help the public to go without any inconvenience. Appropriate recommendations should be made to the government to build a new flyover at this location, he suggested.
