Preparations have intensified in Tiruvannamalai district ahead of Chief Minister M.K. Stalin’s visit to inaugurate the State-level Agricultural Exhibition and Seminar on December 26 and 27.
A review meeting was held today at the District Collectorate under the chairmanship of District Collector K. Tharpagaraj, I.A.S. Officials discussed arrangements for the exhibition, coordination between government departments, security measures, transport facilities and public entry
management.
The exhibition, organised by the Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, will feature the inauguration of completed projects, the laying of foundation stones for new initiatives and the distribution of government welfare assistance by the Chief Minister. Collector Tharpagaraj instructed officials from departments including Revenue and Disaster Management, Rural Development, Municipal Administration, Corporation, Transport, School Education, Food Safety, Public Works, Highways, Women’s Welfare Projects and Information and Public Relations to ensure smooth execution of all programmes.
District Revenue Officer R. Rampradeepan, Assistant Collector (Training) Santosh Kumar, Corporation Commissioner Selva Balaji and officials from various departments participated in the meeting.
