The women’s basketball team of PSGR Krishnammal College for Women has emerged as the winners of the Senior State Basketball Championship 2025, held at Nehru Stadium, Coimbatore, from September 19 to 21. With an impressive display of skill, teamwork, and determination, the team secured the top position, adding yet another milestone to the college’s sporting achievements.
The winning squad was led by captain Supasri P (III B.Sc. Computer Science), supported by Mic Mercilin M (III B.A. English), Sri Lakshmi P (III B.Com.), Arunthathi G (III B.Com.), Dhakshana S (III BBA), Renganayaki M (III B.A. English), Shirin Chithara (III B.A. Economics), Bharathi K (II B.A. Economics), Johanna Piya (II B.Com. E-Commerce), Bhavatarini M.S. (I B.Sc. Computer Science), Akshaya S (I B.A. History), and Harshine KBR (I B.Com.). Each player contributed significantly to the victory, with their efforts combining to secure the championship title.
