Four NCC cadets of PSGR Krishnammal College for Women brought pride to the institution by representing it at the State Republic Day Camp (RDC) 2026, held in Chennai.
CSM Ranjithpriya S.S., a third-year B.Sc. Botany student, Sgt. Vaishnavi M., a second-year B.Sc. Chemistry student, Cpl. Aadhirai S., a second-year B.Sc. Zoology student, and Cpl. Keerthana A., a second-year B.A. Economics student, took part in the prestigious state-level camp.
The cadets displayed high standards of discipline, leadership, drill proficiency and a strong sense of patriotism throughout the camp. Participation in the State RDC is regarded as a significant achievement in the National Cadet Corps, as selection follows months of intensive training, physical endurance tests and strict evaluation of leadership qualities.
Being chosen to represent the institution at the state level is considered a mark of merit and perseverance among NCC cadets. The performance of the four students reflected their dedication to the core values of the NCC and their commitment to service and discipline.
The college administration and NCC unit congratulated the cadets for their commendable performance, stating that their achievement has brought honour and recognition to the institution and serves as an inspiration to fellow students.
