Former India captain Rahul Dravid was honoured with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the BCCI Naman Awards ceremony held in New Delhi on Sunday.
The award was presented by ICC Chairman Jay Shah in recognition of Dravid’s outstanding contribution to Indian cricket as a player and coach.
Former India captain and BCCI President Roger Binny and former Indian women’s team captain Mithali Raj were also honoured with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the ceremony.
Indian opener Shubman Gill received the Player of the Year award for his impressive performances during the year.
The annual Naman Awards are presented by the Board of Control for Cricket in India to recognise outstanding performances and contributions by Indian cricketers.
