Students of Rainbow Defence Martial Arts delivered an outstanding performance at the SGADF National Games 2025, showcasing excellence in Kata, Kumite and Silambam events and earning accolades at the national level.
In the Kata girls category, Anjana P (9), Hrithiksha V (8), Yazhini S (10), Sri Sunmathi K (9), Manisha P (12), Vijita R S (13), Madhumitha S (13), Prathika R V (13), Aparna P (15) and Harini U S (20) impressed with their precision, balance and disciplined
technique.
In the boys’ Kata events, Kavish J E (6), Sri Guhan S (8), Jaswanth A (9), Mithran G S (9), Dhanush S (10), Doushik Dharshan M (11), Karthik S (11) and Suraj Amar Mane (13) delivered confident performances reflecting rigorous training.
In Kumite, Shivanee R (14) stood out in the girls’ division with a strong and composed display.
The boys’ Kumite category saw commendable performances by Gobinesh G (10), Sri Vignesh S (10), Harshan A (10), Anbu R S (11), Moulishwaran G (12), Kumaravel S (15), Guru Sri Dharsna (16) and Rohith N T (20), who demonstrated grit and competitive
spirit.
Adding to the honours, Kavin R (13) showcased skill and control in the Silambam single stick event, drawing praise for his technique and focus.
The students were appreciated and encouraged by Sensei Sujan S, Sensei Vikram T and Sensei Vyshnave H, who lauded their dedication, discipline and remarkable performances at the national-level championship.
