Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) General Secretary N. Anand has directed party functionaries to remove cut-outs and banners put up in various places ahead of the monsoon season.
In a message to party cadres, Anand said Chief Minister and party leader Vijay had instructed that TVK members should not engage in any activity that could cause inconvenience or pose a risk to the public.
He directed functionaries to immediately remove any cut-outs and banners installed in their respective areas before the onset of the monsoon.
Anand said banners and cut-outs should not cause inconvenience or endanger the public during the rainy season. He also urged TVK cadres to remain safe and extend assistance to people during the monsoon.
“Public safety is our priority,” Anand said, instructing party functionaries to ensure that all precautionary measures were followed.
