Rajinikanth hits back at remarks, says truth will prevail

Actor Rajinikanth on Monday strongly refuted remarks made by Tamil Nadu Vetri Kazhagam functionary Adhav Arjuna, who had alleged that the actor withdrew from politics due to pressure from the DMK.
In a statement, Rajinikanth termed the comments as baseless and defamatory, asserting that the claims did not reflect the truth. He responded with a pointed remark, stating, “Time does not speak but waits and answers,” indicating that facts would eventually come to light.
Rajinikanth also expressed gratitude to several political leaders and public figures who condemned the remarks. Those he thanked included Leader of the Opposition Edappadi K. Palaniswami, Tamil Nadu BJP president Nainar Nagendran, Union Minister L. Murugan, Minister S. Raghupathi, Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi leader Thol. Thirumavalavan, and leaders S.P. Velumani, K. Annamalai, Arjunamoorthy, Anbumani Ramadoss, G.K. Vasan, John Pandian and Pugazhenthi.
He also acknowledged support from members of the film industry, including Ameer and G. Dhananjayan, along with media personalities Nakkheeran Gopal and Rangaraj Pandey.
Thanking his fans, whom he described as his strength, Rajinikanth concluded his statement by wishing for the prosperity of Tamil Nadu and its people.
