Actor Rajinikanth has advised youth to prioritise education and avoid risky behaviour such as chasing vehicles of film personalities.
Speaking to reporters at Chennai airport, Rajinikanth cautioned young fans against following actors’ vehicles, highlighting the dangers involved. He said such actions could lead to accidents, stressing that it is the youth who would ultimately suffer injuries.
He emphasised that students should dedicate their time to studies during their formative years, warning that neglecting education could lead to difficulties later in life. He also urged youngsters to maintain good physical health.
Raising concern over substance abuse, Rajinikanth advised youth to stay away from alcohol and наркотics such as marijuana, noting that addiction could ruin not only their lives but also affect their families and surroundings.
He further urged them to distance themselves from friends with such habits.
When asked about the film “Jananayagan,” he declined to comment. He added that shooting for “Jailer” would commence in a couple of days and that a project involving Kamal Haasan is expected to begin in August.
The actor’s remarks come amid increasing incidents of fans chasing vehicles of public figures during political campaigns.
Recently, accidents were reported in some areas where youths followed the campaign vehicle of actor-turned-politician Vijay ahead of the Tamil Nadu Assembly elections. Vijay has also repeatedly appealed to fans not to engage in such practices.
