Leading textile brand Ramraj Cotton today announced the launch of its exclusive traditional collections to commemorate Dhoti Week 2026, coinciding with the Pongal festival.
The special range features premium dhotis paired with stylish coloured shirts for men and children, aimed at celebrating Indian heritage while strengthening the rural weaver community.
As part of the celebrations, the company has introduced the Culture Club range for men, offering vibrant shirts with traditional dhotis priced at ₹595 and ₹695.
For children, the Little Star collection presents matching border dhotis and shirts priced at ₹395 and ₹495.
The company said the collections reflect its core values of prosperity, creativity and fostering cultural pride from a young age. Ramraj Cotton has been observing Dhoti Week every year since the Tamil Nadu Government declared January 6 as Dhoti Day in 2015.
The initiative seeks to promote India’s national attire while also improving the livelihoods of rural weavers by making traditional wear contemporary, affordable and relevant to modern lifestyles.
The success of Dhoti Week is rooted in the vision of K.R. Nagarajan, Founder and Chairman of Ramraj Cotton.
Inspired by the ideals of Mahatma Gandhi on rural empowerment, Nagarajan has spent decades researching and developing dhoti varieties that appeal across age groups, transforming the dhoti into a symbol of dignity, cultural pride and professional respect.
The company said the initiative is not merely a corporate milestone, but a collective celebration of Tamil heritage and Indian tradition.
Aligned with the spirit of Pongal, the Dhoti Week 2026 collection has been positioned as a landmark cultural initiative, enabling families to celebrate the harvest festival in traditional attire at attractive prices.
The festive offers are applicable across Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.
The Dhoti Week 2026 collections were officially unveiled by the Ramraj Cotton leadership team comprising K.R. Nagarajan, Founder and Chairman; B.R. Arun Eashwar, Managing Director; S. Aswin, Joint Managing Director; K.A. Selvakumar, Chief Executive Officer (Marketing and Operations); and A. Ganapathi, Chief Executive Officer (Manufacturing and Supply Chain).
