Rao hospital leads next- gen ENDO INSIGHT

The Indian Association of Gynaec Endoscopists (IAGE) – Tamil Nadu Chapter, The Coimbatore Obstetric & Gynaecological Society, and the Coimbatore Chapter of TAPISAR, in association with Rao Hospital, successfully hosted ENDO INSIGHT 2025 – YUVA IAGE, a two-day national conference on November 29 and 30 at The Residency Towers, Coimbatore. With over 300 registrations from young gynaecologists, trainees, and practising clinicians from Tamil Nadu and across India, the event emerged as one of the year’s most engaging academic
gatherings.
The conference opened with a high-impact live surgery workshop. Procedures were streamed from Rao Hospital in R.S. Puram and Coimbatore Medical College Hospital, enabling delegates to observe minimally invasive gynaec procedures, including hysteroscopies, total laparoscopic hysterectomies, laparoscopic myomectomies, fertility-enhancing surgeries, and advanced endoscopic techniques.
Expert surgeons demonstrated operative strategies, precision, and intraoperative decision-making. Multiple scientific halls hosted parallel sessions through the
day.
Renowned faculty led advanced laparoscopic and hysteroscopic training sessions. Specialists in reproductive medicine presented the latest developments in IVF stimulation, ART practices, IUI techniques, and laboratory innovations.
Delegates also took part in an aesthetic gynaecology workshop. The Free Paper Competition provided young clinicians a platform to present research and clinical cases, showcasing strong academic promise. Day two featured an impactful oration by Dr. Kalyan Barmade, President of IAGE, titled “Laparoscopic Surgery in the Era of Robots.” He emphasised mastering core laparoscopy while embracing new robotic innovations.
Event Organising Chairperson Dr. Damodar Rao, Secretary of IAGE–Tamil Nadu Chapter and Associate Director of Rao Hospital, said the event empowered clinicians with practical exposure. Organising Co-Chairperson Dr. Asha Rao, Director of Rao Hospital, stressed the conference’s role in fostering scientific thinking among young specialists.
Honorary mentor Dr. Hafeez Rehman, Dronacharya Awardee and renowned gynec endoscopy surgeon, was also recognised for his academic contributions. ENDO INSIGHT 2025 concluded with a commitment to advancing women’s healthcare through education, innovation, and
collaboration.
