Rayappas, one of Coimbatore’s most-loved Chettinad restaurant chains, opened its new branch at Goldwins on Saturday, adding another culinary hotspot to the city’s vibrant food map.
The inauguration was graced by Dr. G.V. Sampath, Chairman of Naruvi Hospitals, Vellore, in the presence of Mr. Babu, Proprietor of Rayappas, and several distinguished guests.
Speaking to the media, Rajashekar, Manager of the new branch, said the restaurant has introduced exclusive varieties of biriyanis and signature side dishes crafted with a fusion of traditional Chettinad recipes and modern culinary ideas.
“We have given special focus to fish dishes, offering over 15 unique varieties that blend the flavours of Kerala and Chettinad cuisine,” he said, adding that the menu also features a wide selection of mutton delicacies.
For evening diners, Rayappas will offer special combos such as Idiyappam–Thala Kari, Idly–Thala Kari, and Appam–Naatu Kozhi Kozhambu, promising an authentic and flavourful experience for food enthusiasts.
