A free medical camp was held at the Government Higher Secondary School in Kethaesal village, jointly organized by the Sathyamangalam Women’s Club, Tamil Nadu Forest Department, Erode Cancer Center, and READ organization.
The camp was conducted under the leadership of Mr. R. Karuppusamy, Director of READ organization.
In this camp, people were screened and provided with consultations for breast cancer, cervical cancer, skin, liver, stomach, kidney, thyroid, and colorectal cancers, as well as general medical conditions. Cancer was detected in two individuals, and they were provided with medical advice. 69 people participated in and benefited from this camp.
The camp was organized by Mr. M. Palanisamy, Project Manager of READ organization, along with project officers and social educators.
