The 6th installation ceremony of the Rotaract Club of Sai Ramakrishna Nursing College was held under the theme “Lumière: The New Dawn”, marking the beginning of a new leadership team committed to service, fellowship and community engagement. The programme commenced at 9.10 a.m.
Club Advisor Rtn. Dr. Vijay Sadasivam attended the ceremony before leaving at 9.35 a.m. due to a scheduled surgery commitment.
District Rotaract Representative Rtr. Vijay Vignesh addressed the gathering and encouraged members to strengthen their commitment to service and leadership.
Guest of Honour and RCC Saicity Secretary Balaji J. spoke about the significance of the theme, highlighting the nursing students’ role in bringing care, comfort and hope to people through empathy and service.
Chief Guest and RCC Saicity President Rtn. Dr. Balamurugan delivered an interactive address, reaffirming the parent club’s support through mentorship and guidance. He appreciated the outgoing team’s dedication and urged the incoming office-bearers to pursue meaningful community projects, think ambitiously and build lasting friendships.
Rtn. Sankaran, who supported the event from the beginning, sponsored stationery for a signature event planned by the college’s Rotaract Club.
Incoming President Rtr. Someswaran M., Secretary Rtr. Suruthi N. and the entire team of office-bearers were congratulated on their new responsibilities. The outgoing team was also appreciated for laying a strong foundation through dedicated service.
The parent Rotary Club expressed its commitment to guiding the young leaders as they begin a new year of service, with a focus on fresh ideas, meaningful initiatives and lasting community impact.
