Rotary Club of Coimbatore Monarks Completes UDAAN 3.0

The Rotary Club of Coimbatore Monarks successfully concluded its flagship initiative UDAAN 3.0, with 40 students returning to the city after a three-day educational and leadership exposure programme.
Club President Rtn. Sudhakar and Project Chairman Rtn. Aashish Aggarwal said the initiative was designed to broaden young minds by offering exposure beyond classrooms and familiar
surroundings. For many of the participating children, the trip marked their first flight and their first experience travelling outside their hometown. Organisers said the programme focused on nurturing confidence, communication skills and leadership abilities through structured sessions and interactive
activities.
Students who began the journey with hesitation returned with greater self-belief and clearer aspirations. The club noted that UDAAN aims to provide belief, exposure and encouragement to children from diverse backgrounds, enabling them to expand their ambitions. The transformation over the three days was evident in the students’ confidence and enthusiasm upon arrival in Coimbatore. Rtn. Balakrishnan Shanmugam, Chairman – Public Image, Rotary Club of Coimbatore Monarks, highlighted that documenting and sharing such transformative journeys would inspire more community participation and strengthen youth-focused service
initiatives.
Members of the Rotary Club said youth empowerment would remain a core focus of their service initiatives. They also thanked supporters, mentors and contributors who helped make UDAAN 3.0 a success, adding that the project would continue in the years ahead to inspire many more young
minds.
