Rotary Club of Thoothukudi trailblazers holds Green rally for Environmental awareness

The Rotary Club of Thoothukudi Trailblazers, under Rotary District 3212, organised a car rally in Thoothukudi to promote environmental protection and create awareness about the importance of maintaining a greener environment. The rally was flagged off by Thoothukudi Corporation Commissioner S. Priyanka under the leadership of Rotary District Governor Gandhi Krishnan.
The event was presided over by Rotary Club of Thoothukudi Trailblazers President M. Divya Brightlin. Secretary Dr. Rajini Dattia and Treasurer Rajeevi Mohanraj were present. Project Coordinator and Advocate Swarnalatha and Corporation Health Officer Hari Ganesh also participated.
Students of the Environmental Club of the Fisheries College and Research Institute, Thoothukudi, along with Rotary members and their family members, took part in the rally.
The cars travelled through the city carrying awareness messages on protecting natural resources, growing trees and preserving the environment.
The rally conveyed the message, “Protect Greenery – Enrich the Future”, encouraging public participation in environmental conservation.As part of the initiative, seed balls were distributed to all participants to promote greenery and encourage tree planting.
