Naam Tamilar Katchi Chief Coordinator Seeman filed his nomination on Monday to contest from the Karaikudi Assembly constituency in the upcoming Tamil Nadu elections.
With the nomination process commencing across the State, candidates from various parties have begun submitting their papers at Returning Officer offices. Seeman filed his nomination in Karaikudi amid the presence of party cadres and supporters.
Polling for the 234 Assembly constituencies in Tamil Nadu is scheduled to be held on April 23, while counting of votes will take place on May 4.
Major political parties including the DMK alliance, AIADMK-led alliance and others have already announced their candidates, intensifying the election process across the State.
