Seeman should mend his ways

Let us all agree that Seeman, the chief coordinator of the Naam Tamilar Party, is an excellent orator in Tamil. He is a progressive thinker, and he is combative in expressing opinions and pointing out mistakes.
But he occasionally gets into controversy by making defamatory comments. Even recently, he had criticized Dravidian leaders including Periyar in a derogatory manner.
Although Seeman, as a party leader, is said to be speaking for political reasons, in recent times he is being seen to be acting contrary to the high standards of a leader.
He has made it a habit to attack journalists and other party members, and even his own party workers. Yesterday, news broke that Seeman had attacked DMK leader Ranganathan in Virudhachalam. The incident where Seeman, forgetting that he was the party leader and getting out of the car and trying to attack him, caused great shock among the public.
Recently, the Naam Tamilar party members present at Ginjee used inappropriate language towards the journalists who raised questions. This led to an argument between the two parties. At that time, Seeman, who was speaking on the stage, suddenly came down and ran down, wringing his hands and trying to attack the journalist.
In another incident, Seeman met reporters at a private wedding venue in Villianur, Puducherry. At that time, he got angered by a question asked by a reporter, got up from his seat and started cursing the reporter in a single, obnoxious manner. Subsequently, the reporter was attacked by Seeman’s party members.
Wherever there is a problem, the correct democratic method is to complain to the police department and seek redress. That is the beauty of a party leader. Can Seeman, who often talks about Kamaraj and Thiruvalluvar, behave like this?
Leaders have the right not to answer questions asked by journalists. Instead, it is not right to get angry and attack. No one has the right to attack anyone. That is what the police are there for. You should file a complaint and find a solution, not take the law into your own hands.
The beauty of a leader is that he should handle problems patiently. Seeman needs to change himself a bit. He should give up his confrontational attitude with journalists!
