Super Kings Academy Madurai organised the U-13 Inter-District Cricket Tournament in Madurai with the participation of talented young cricketers from various districts.
Four teams — SKA Drome, SKA Madurai, SKA Theni and SKA Coimbatore — took part in the tournament, which was conducted in a league format.
After a series of competitive matches, SKA Coimbatore emerged champions with an impressive all-round performance throughout the tournament. Sudharshan was adjudged the Best Batsman after scoring a remarkable 440 runs in four innings.
Nithik won the Best Bowler award for his outstanding spell that fetched five wickets in the tournament. Mithran Aaruvel also delivered a notable performance with the ball, claiming four wickets and contributing significantly to his team’s successful campaign. The victorious SKA Coimbatore team was guided by coach Vishnu, whose training, leadership and encouragement played a key role in the team securing the championship title.
