A rare and startling incident caused commotion on the Coimbatore Ring Road after a large snake climbed onto a parked two-wheeler, leaving motorists shocked and the video going viral on social media.
According to reports, the incident occurred when a motorist was riding along the Ring Road and suddenly spotted a large snake crossing the road. Startled by the sight, the rider immediately stopped the vehicle, abandoned it in fear and ran to safety.
In an unusual turn, the snake did not move away but instead slowly slithered onto the parked two-wheeler. It then positioned itself near the front of the bike, raising its head and remaining there for some time.
Passersby, surprised and alarmed by the scene, halted their vehicles and recorded videos on their mobile phones. After lingering briefly, the snake eventually climbed down on its own and disappeared into nearby bushes.
The video of the incident has since gone viral, with social media users humorously commenting that the snake appeared to be “asking for a lift.” Meanwhile, forest officials have advised motorists to remain cautious while travelling on roads passing through or near forested areas.
