C.V. Ramkumar, Chief Executive Officer of SNR Sons Charitable Trust, was presented with the Vocational Service Award by Rotary Coimbatore Millennium in recognition of his contributions to social service.
The award was conferred at a grand ceremony held at Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College with the support of the Interact Club of Sri Ramakrishna Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Vattamalaipalayam. Former Anna University Vice-Chancellor E. Balagurusamy attended the event as chief guest.
Project Chairman R. Hendry Amalaraj read out the citation and presented the award in the presence of Rotary Coimbatore Millennium President Sebi Sebastian and several dignitaries.
Among those present were Interact Club President Dhansika, Assistant Governor Shanmugasundaram, GGR Yuvaraj, Secretary Rajesh and Vocational Service Chairman V. Ramanathan. President-Elect Varadarajan, Past President Naren, representatives from BVG Foundation, and senior officials from Sri Ramakrishna Hospital also participated.
Principals from Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College, College of Education, Alathur in Kerala, along with staff coordinators Dinesh and Chitra, and student interactors attended the function, which was marked by enthusiastic participation and a celebratory atmosphere.
