AIADMK candidate S.P. Velumani, contesting from the Thondamuthur Assembly constituency as part of the National Democratic Alliance, took part in a traditional tribal dance during a temple festival at Seengampathi village as part of his election campaign.
Velumani visited the tribal village where the annual Amman temple festival was being celebrated. He received a warm welcome from the hill tribe community, who greeted him with traditional music and dance.
Amid the festivities, Velumani joined the villagers in their customary dance, drawing enthusiastic response from the local community. His interaction with the tribal people and participation in their cultural celebrations created a lively atmosphere in the village.
During the visit, he listened to the grievances and needs of the hill residents and assured that, if re-elected, further development initiatives would be undertaken to improve their livelihoods.
He also highlighted the development works already carried out in the constituency and sought support for the party’s two-leaves symbol in the upcoming Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly elections.
