Stanes School’s Kutty Cops Lead Road Safety Drive

The Kutty Cops, Scouts and Guides, and NSS units of Stanes Anglo-Indian Higher Secondary School, Coimbatore, conducted a vibrant Road Safety Campaign at the LIC Signal on Avinashi Road today as part of Road Safety Week 2025.
The initiative, supported by Uyir Organisation’s Education Coordinator Mr. K. Bala Subramaniyam and organized under the guidance of Sub-Inspector of Police Mr. Kanagaraj, was inaugurated.

Principal Mr. John Stephen, Vice Principal (Senior School) Dr. V. Divakaran, Vice Principal (Junior School) Mrs. Priya Sheen, and teachers participated in the event. Addressing the gathering, Mr. Kanagaraj highlighted the need to follow traffic rules diligently — urging all to wear helmets and seat belts, avoid mobile phone use while driving, obey signals, and give way to emergency vehicles. Over 70 students from Stanes Anglo-Indian Hr. Sec. School carried colourful placards and posters to spread awareness among motorists about safe driving. The public appreciated their efforts in promoting road discipline and safety.The campaign effectively reinforced the message of responsible road behaviour, inspiring both students and the public to make road safety a daily habit.
