The inaugural of Startup Singam Season 2 was held in Chennai on Monday, marking the launch of “Startup Singam – Season 1: Tamil Nadu Startups – A PSGIM Casebook on Strategic Decisions and Disruptive, Ecosystem-Enabled Growth,” authored by faculty members of PSG Institute of Management.
The book documents real-time strategic decisions taken by startups across Tamil Nadu and captures candid insights from founders and investors. What began as an academic documentation effort evolved into a record of real-world decision-making, built on trust and open conversations within the startup ecosystem.
The publication was released by Zoho founder and Mudhal Partners member Kumar Vembu in the presence of Startup Singam leaders Hemachandran and Balachandran.The casebook was co-edited by Prof. SB Srinivasan, Dean Industry Engagements PSGIM along with

Speakers highlighted that the book reflects a model of management education rooted in practical judgment and lived experience rather than retrospective analysis. Appreciation was expressed to the Startup Singam leadership, as well as participating founders and investors, for their cooperation and transparency.
